Zimbabwe Hearts African Tea is a nicely balanced, flavorful blend built for refreshment with a well-hidden green tea base that stays smooth and clean. There’s no grassy or vegetal flavor peeking out anywhere. Instead, bright lemon and orange notes lead the cup, joined by a gentle mint finish that makes it pleasant sip after sip.
Brewed, the liquor is a beautiful sunny yellow, with a pleasant spearmint aroma on the nose. The first sip tastes minty, followed by a citrus tang at the finish , crisp, light, and easy to love.
Ingredients: Green Tea, Spearmint Leaves, Lemon Grass, Lemon Verbena, Orange, Marigold Flowers, Natural Lemon Flavor & Natural Orange Flavor
Perfect Brewing Instructions: One teaspoon (approx. 3g) for 8oz of water. Steep at 180F for 2-3 minutes (adjust based on your taste preference). Just turn your kettle off before boiling if you don't have a temperature controlled kettle.
Caffeine: Contains moderate level of caffeine.
Food pairing: Pair exceptionally well with hard cheeses like cheddar making it taste even creamier. It also goes with fried foods, as it cuts nicely through the oil, as well as being great to drink throughout the day on its own.
