Our favorite caffeine-free masala blend is with rooibos base, aromatic with exotic warming spices. This blend is zesty, smooth, mellow and delightful which can be enjoyed hot or cold. Not only does spiced tea or Masala "chai" tea taste good, but it’s also really good for you. Masala "Chai" is full of ingredients with beneficial properties, including ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and more. Spiced (Masala) tea has a variety of benefits, including improving digestion, reducing inflammation, boosting your immune system, and more.
Talking about “chai tea” is a little bit redundant, since “chai” is actually just the word for tea in Hindi. “Masala chai,” another common term, means “spiced tea” in Hindi. Despite the redundancy, “chai tea” is still the term many people use to refer to this sweet, fragrant concoction of black tea, milk, and spices that originated in India and is now popular all over the world.
Inspire by Seychelles:
Similarly, to the population, the Seychelles' food and drink culture is also characterized by the influence of different regions of the world, resulting in a varied range of influences. Seychellois Creole cuisine combines the exoticism of Indian and Asian dishes with the piquant flavors of the Orient, as well as some subtleties of European culinary culture. These elements then find their culinary expression in a unique fusion of influences.
A wide palette of spices provides the special Creole flavor in the cuisine, such as vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, citronella, patschouli, and chili. Ginger and garlic are also favorites of the Seychellois and are used in almost every meal.
In the Seychelles, it is normal to drink water or cold spiced beverage with food. Here is our SeyBrew drink inspired by spices and lemongrass from Seychelles.

Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) is a legume, the same family of plants to which peas and clover belong. It is native to the Western Cape of South Africa, where is it a popular drink; translated from Afrikaans, rooibos means “red bush.” Young branches are cut from the shrub once a year (December–April). These cuttings are finely chopped and bruised to promote oxidation, are then moistened and layered (a “sweating” step), and finally are dried. During this processing, the green leaves turn red, yielding a flavor that is somewhat woody, sweet, and creamy.
Asami offers Rooibos, Green Rooibos, its closest cousin is the Honeybush and many rooibos blends. We work directly with our South Africa farmers to bring you organic rooibos.
