Cream Vanilla Kenyan Earl Grey Tea | Sunrise in Kenya

Regular price $14.97

A cup of Cream Vanilla Kenyan Earl Grey tea will brighten your day! Cold-pressed organic bergamot oranges paired perfectly with the natural fruity notes of our Kenyan black tea. The addition of a touch of vanilla makes for a lovely blend.

The citrus has a true biological effect – sparking your system and your senses.

This brew is one of our absolute best blends for a reason! It is delicate enough to enjoy without milk (or with a slice of lemon should you wish!) and flavorful enough to enjoy with a splash of milk. You can sweeten with Nectar or honey.

Other beneficial ways to use Earl Grey tea:

Earl Grey isn’t just for sipping with your pinky stuck in the air. There’s a range of other ways to enjoy this fragrant tea:

  • Eat it. Numerous recipes call for Earl Grey tea. We’re talking ice cream, creme brulee, custard, smoked meats, and bread. Also, make earl grey tea cake.
  • Bathe in it. You can add a couple tablespoons of tea leaves to hot bathwater and allow it to stew before getting in. It’s like a tea bath bomb.
  • Rinse your hair in it. Steep a tea bag overnight in boiling water, and then use it as a final rinse for your hair the next day. Bring on the shiny locks!
  • Scrub with it. Combine tea leaves, coconut oil, and cane sugar to create an antioxidant exfoliant.
  • Combat under-eye bags. After enjoying a cuppa, you can apply the warm, damp tea bags over your closed eyes to help reduce puffiness.
  • Relieve insect stings. Wasp got you? Apply a wet Earl Gray tea bag to the sting for soothing relief.
  • Makes a killer London Fog. Just add hot frothed milk and a bit of agave.

Black tea is healthy since it has lower amounts of caffeine which helps to promote blood flow in the brain without over stimulating the heart. The powerful tea's phytochemicals aid in strong bones and connective tissue. Its polyphenols prevent tooth decay and helps in checking bacteria that causes bad breath.

Black Tea is known to banish fatigue, stimulate mental powers, and raise energy levels. It has been shown to reduce stress hormone levels and acts as a nerve sedative, frequently relieving headaches. Black tea contains a number of vitamins considered essential for maintaining health, including Carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, has antioxidant and protective properties, Vitamin B1 and Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6.

Black Tea also contains antioxidants which may help to protect your body from the ravages of aging and environmental effects. Because they are allowed to ferment completely before drying, most black teas are especially rich in those polyphenols which have been shown to be effective against dementia in aging as well as AIDS related dementia. These compounds penetrate the blood brain barrier and have also been found to reduce blood cholesterol levels.

Black tea is known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It can be topically applied to cuts, bruises and burns, and is famous for its sunburn relief and has been shown to have a positive effect on preventing tooth decay and gum disease.
